The SS14 campaign on SuitSupply.com: "Show Uncensored?"

Last week I was lucky to be invited to the opening party to celebrate the launch of the store for the global menswear brand, SuitSupply, specializing in tailor-driven collections. It’s the newest and first Canadian store residing in a converted mansion with 4,800 square feet in the most posh place to be in Yorkville across from Hazelton Hotel.

Offerings include tailored suits and sportcoats in a selection of fine fabrics from top Italian mills such as Larusmiani and Vitale Barberis Canonico.

SuitSupply is bold, cheeky and full of attitude. And you can see that spirit reflected in their Spring Summer 2014 campaign. When you visit the website, www.SuitSupply.com, you’re treated to the theme of the unabashed playboy lifestyle with scantily-clad women in bikinis surrounding a well dressed gentleman. Oh, and you get the choice of viewing the uncensored version (as pictured above). Good times!

And just like the campaign, the store is bright, bold and brimming with vibrant colours.

“Toronto isn’t just Canada’s largest city,” says Suitsupply founder and CEO, Fokke de Jong. “It’s also one of the world’s style capitals — a vibrant and diverse city. Our decision to expand into this market was from the demand of our Canadian clients. We wanted to give them a store in the Toronto community and we’re proud that we can deliver what they’ve been asking us for.”

The new store is located in Yorkville at 9 Hazelton Ave right across from Hazelton Hotel.

There have been many openings around the world including Hamburg and across the US. So check out the video of the SuitSupply store opening in Shanghai featuring the CEO of SuitSupply Fokke de Jong who was also in attendance at Toronto’s Yorkville opening.
