Held at Fort York yesterday, September 13th, it was one last chilly hurrah for summer with the outdoor EDM music festival called Play Music Festival. Luckily the morning rain had just stopped, too, to sweeten the deal.

I went in without much expectations at all and was pleasantly surprised at the production value and organization. With two stages: the Play Stage and the Groove Stage, DJs brought plenty of crowd-pleasing beats from the afternoon into the night.

Comfort food was readily available from the great food trucks including Smoke’s Poutinerie and Bacon Nation. Drink tickets and drinks were also readily available.

Overall well done for a 16+ music festival.
