It’s that time of year again where TIFF kicks off another highly-anticipated exhibition with a special filmmaker. For this year’s occasion, TIFF programming takes us into the mind of Stanley Kubrick.

To celebrate that opening, BoomBox kicks off tomorrow night (Oct 30, 2014) at the TIFF Bell Lightbox and it will definitely be a must-attend event.

Features of the BoomBox party include:

  • Gourmet bites from Oliver & Bonacini, Parts & Labour catering and Pizza Pizza
  • Just like with last year’s Cronenberg: Evolution party, there will be a Stanley Kubrick-themed makeup and special effects.
  • Exclusive opportunity to purchase tickets to the private Eyes Wide Shut performance
  • Open bar
  • Silent auction and prizes
  • and much more

Tickets are $175 at the door. Each ticket purchased also includes a donation that supports TIFF’s year-round programming, education and community outreach. You will also receive a charitable tax receipt for the maximum allowable amount.

Proceeds help TIFF, as a non-profit organization, showcase world-renowned film programming and innovative exhibitions year-round that support young and aspiring filmmakers through outreach programmes such as Reel Comfort and Pocket Fund.

Check out the video highlights from last year’s party. That’s me at the 0:42 mark looking at the Cronenberg Evolution exhibit.
