Summer means it’s time to get outside! And what easier and better way to get out to enjoy some sun than on a cruise and truly enjoy the view of the beautiful Toronto cityscape.

You can take your usual happy hour to the waters with a “Sip & Sail” series of events with Mariposa Cruises for only $20 for adults.

There will be delicious appetizers and drinks available for purchase to go along with your delicious views. And it’s pretty easy to take memorable photos like this whether you have a cell phone or SLR on those perfect sunny days. The unobstructed views of the CN Tower and Skydome ripe for the snapping.

Maybe you need to meet somewhere before a cruise? That’s what I did when I decided to drop by at CC Lounge before my sunset dinner cruise. And it helps that they now have a happy hour from 4-7pm weekdays Monday-Friday. They also have $3 shots of Jameson whiskey – always a great deal.

You definitely must try CC Lounge’s take on the whisky sour, a fine crowd-pleasing cocktail with egg whites and a splash of red wine.

After cocktails and bites at CC Lounge, it’s just a short cab ride (please don’t drive, of course) over to Queen’s Quay Terminal where you see the large fine Mariposa cruise ships including Oriole and Showboat.
