Celebrating Canadian design firm Yabu-Pushelberg, the annual Design Exchange fundraising gala was held on Saturday, November 7th, 2015. Even though Halloween was the weekend prior, there were many guests and dancers who dressed up in Kismet-inspired costumes for this elegant design party.

DX Kismet gala took over the entire design museum with hundreds in attendance (including our #DXKISMET giveaway winner, Erika Komori!) and it was quite a treat. Check out photos below!

The evening started with a private dinner followed by the main party with hundreds in attendance. The major focal point was the aerialists and dancers on the scaffolding structure behind the DJ booth. Quite a sight to see!

And it’s no wonder the costumes were so great, the best costume awarded to Austin Wang included a two-night stay at Park Hyatt New York with complimentary flights courtesy of Porter Airlines and a $2,500 gift card from Saks Fifth Avenue in New York! What an amazing prize!

Congrats to everyone involved for throwing on of the best events of the year. And most importantly congrats to the Design Exchange for surpassing their fundraising goal. Proceeds of the Design Exchange’s fundraising gala support education initiatives and public programs of this design museum, formerly home of the Toronto Stock Exchange trading floor.
