As part of the celebrations of new tequila brand, Siempre Tequila, by Toronto-based founders Alex and Monica will be hosting an exclusive tequila bartending competition called “Respect The Agave” next week. The event will feature Siempre-inspired hors d’oeuvres by Underground Chef Co. with entertainment by DJ Young Mase.

The “Respect the Agave” event takes place this Monday, Dec 21, 2015 at the Addisons with doors open at 7pm.
Top local Bartenders compete two-at-a-time. They all know the main ingredient is Siempre Tequila Plata, made of 100% Blue Agave, and are allowed to bring their own tools, special garnishes and bag of tricks. They will however use all the secret ingredients in the black box to be revealed seconds before they create the cocktail. Bartenders will have 20 minutes to plan and execute their masterpieces while interacting with the audience, judges and cameras.
Winners will advance to the next round to compete for an Ontario championship. The judging panel will include Maestro Fresh Wes, CP24’s Patricia Jaggernauth, Casie Stewart and more.
