Montecito has launched their new Farm-To-Table brunch buffet experience. You can enjoy it every Sunday from 11am to 3pm for $39 per person.

We had the chance to check out their new menu, which was filled with fresh ingredients, meat and seafood. You will find great food spreads on the harvest table and lots of fresh, delicious desserts at the front of the restaurant. They use natural ingredients delivered daily from their Ontario partners, and the menu showcases the simplicity of the best seasonal ingredients.

There is a carving station, which wasn’t your traditional roast beef, in our case we had Pork Belly Ssäm. We filled our lettuce with their gourmet pork belly and various condiments (including pickled radish, kimchi, mustard). Delicious! To add further variety there are additional selections of meat – bacon, sausages, meatballs and crispy fried chicken. For those craving salads, there are numerous options such as potato salad, cobb salad, and my favourite, the kale salad.

If you’re craving something different, they have a board filled with cheese and another filled with charcuterie. There’s baked goods, such as croissants, scones, and donuts. We also sampled the crab legs and oysters from the fresh seafood tower. There were made-to-order items available – like the omelette and pancakes.

After our feast, luckily, I had just enough appetite left for dessert. While I enjoyed the seasonal fruits, I could not resist filling up on the hazelnut bar, white chocolate strawberry tarte, vanilla panna cotta and tiramisu. A great way to end the brunch buffet experience.

Priced at $39 per person, $19.50 for children six to twelve and free for children five and under. Mimosas and caesars (shown above) are only $5.

Montecito is located at 299 Adelaide Street West.
