Canada’s National Ballet School’s annual fundraising gala was held on March 4, 2016 where over 600 guests, dancers and friends of NBS were immersed in a fantastical world of steampunk.

The evening started off with a cocktail and piano reception complete with a smokeshow of dry ice cocktails and absinthe cocktails by BarChef.

Next up was a gala dinner during which we witnessed the incredible talents of the young dancers of NBS.

Following that was the young patrons reception with music by Bellosound accompanied by the awesome Sarah G Violin. Costumes on point all around.

There was also a fun slow-motion steampunk videobooth complete with steampunk props.

The casino and silent auction to end the night certainly helped close out the memorable night.

The annual fundraising gala contributes 40% of the School’s annual fundraising goal in a single night. To learn more about NBS visit www.nbs-enb.ca
