Co-owners and brothers, Richard and Peter Simons welcomed VIPs at the pre-launch of their first Simons store in Ontario on Wed March 17th, 2016. The Quebec City based clothing retailer expanded into Mississauga’s Square One Shopping Centre coinciding with the mall’s expansion.
Champagne and cocktails, food and music free flowed through the large 110,00 square foot two level store where VIPs such as former-Mississauga mayor, Hazel McCallion browsed through their collections. Guests couldn’t wait for the official public opening on and decided to do some spring shopping at the event. CEO, Peter Simons also gave a private media tour of the store which features a restaurant and an art installation on the second level.

Simons is a family owned business that has stores in Vancouver, Edmonton, Montreal and Gatineau which focuses on attractively priced private label brands to high end international labels. Twik, Icône, Djab, Le 31 Urban, Alexander McQueen and Balmain represent some of the brands they carry.
