On May 25th, 2016 join us again for the third annual Wonderful Women event, hosted by the Weizmann Canada’s Women and Science committee. This is an exclusive opportunity to celebrate, learn and network with an inspiring and accomplished panel of women at the historical and magnificent Casa Loma.
This year’s panel includes award-winning author and musician Jann Arden, author and actress Mary Jo Eustace, business woman Carrie Kirkman and scientist Dr. Yifat Merbl from the Weizmann Institute of Science. The evening will be moderated by well-known journalist and TV personality, Dianne Buckner.
With a stellar line up of speakers and the beautiful historic Casa Loma as a backdrop – this event will be outstanding!
The panel will discuss challenges and triumphs they have experienced in their respective careers. Funds raised will benefit the Israel National Postdoctoral Award Program, which helps to create and maintain a balance of men and women at the highest levels of academia. The objective of the award, which includes a grant to the recipient, is to promote women in science, and to provide a strong role model to motivate and encourage the next generation of young female scientists.
