Starting off 2018 in style, 55 Avenue Road’s Yorkville-Village opened its doors to Toronto Fashion Week – and the Fall/Winter season has never looked so good! The 3-day festival, in Toronto’s most prestigious and stylish luxury neighborhood, welcomed designers, influencers, the who’s-who of Canadian fashion, and fashion lovers alike. Traditional runways, paired with studio presentations and designer showrooms, created a unique atmosphere of the here and now.
It was an evening filled with inspiration, in celebrating the art of celebrating each other. Celebrity designer Nate Berkus and Michelin-trained Chef Patrick Kriss of Canada’s top-rated restaurant Alo, teamed up with Stella Artois in hosting a most extraordinary garden party and inspirational dining experience.
The Rally Gallery on Ossington was beautifully illuminated with fashion-inspiration as the sun set on October 4th, for an intimate gathering to celebrate a special Toronto edition of Cabinet Éphémère. Guests were treated to cocktails and appetizers at the exclusive VIP reception, to kick-off the four day pop-up event hosted by media personality and fashion ambassador Glen Baxter.
Mackage’s chic, effortness, perfectly executed runway show was indeed a highlight of Toronto’s FW16 Fashion Week. Within CBC’s Studio 40, models emerged from an igloo-backdrop onto the sleek runway. Overlooked by beautifully hung icicle-chandeliers, a sense of cool wonderment kicked off this incredible show; as the DJ got the energy up and the collection flowing.
