Screemers is back, unleashing terrors for their 25th anniversary, a horror staple in Toronto located at the Exhibition Place. The haunted scream park features 7 haunted houses and carnival rides, while ghosts and ghouls roam the property.
Paese Ristorante has been around since 1989 serving handcrafted and homemade approach to Italian-inspired menu with a made-in-Canada twist. Paese is a neighbourhood gem. In Italian, the word Paese means “town or village”, which symbolizes neighbourhood. Paese is known for its mouth-watering appetizers, fresh and seasonal favourites and a menu filled with a mix of Italian eats favourites including: homemade pizza, pasta dishes with homemade sauces. Many of the ingredients comes from their own garden 2 blocks from the restaurant.
For October, Casa Loma, has been transformed to a spooky haunted castle, filled with monsters, zombies and werewolves. Legends of Horror opened in the beginning of the month and runs until Halloween. It’s an all-ages event (children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult); the price is $40 in advance or $45 at the door.
On the main floor of the newest and stunning QRC West building in Toronto’s Entertainment District is Ricarda’s, a massive Mediterranean open-kitchen restaurant, bakery, bar and café. A gorgeous and spacious space, with its clean and modern décor filled with marble and gold accents, deep u-shaped booths overlooking the kitchen. The restaurant has 170 seats inside and 100 seats in the indoor patio outside the office building’s lobby.
