An impressive cityscape view from The Porch

High flying Rock’n;Horse Saloon is the talk of downtown these days when it comes to casual summer patio parties. And does it ever show with lines out the door and on to the sidewalk weekdays and weekends filling this country-themed bar to the brim. Thankfully, they’ve just expanded with a similarly themed roof top patio, The Porch.

Taking over the old London Tap House on 250 Adelaide St. West, the new country bar Rock ‘n’ Horse Saloon opened on December 4th in the downtown core. The country themed details go deep, from the mechanical bull all the way down to the bar stools with full-sized saddles. The Airship 37 venue in the Distillery District as I knew it was turned into a country hoedown with party-goers in cowboy hats, plaid, and cowboy boots dancing to country music. The Jim Beam booth featured Jim Beam girls doing a blind Taste Challenge versus Jack Daniels.
