With the premise of marrying function and design to prepare gourmet dishes in record time: guests were treated to live demos which showcased just how little oil (1 tbsp or less!) was used to create the cooked and delicious fried canapés at each station. Toronto-based fine jewellery designer Alessia Magnotta premiered her collection at owner and celebrity stylist Annie Jagger’s boutique, Gilding the Lily, located in the Distillery District on August 6th.
Inspired by the strong women in her family, Magnotta creates strong yet delicate pieces in sterling silver and 14k yellow gold.
