This year’s Gardiner SMASH: Nourish was held on Wed June 26, 2019. It was a splendid evening with new and old faces – young and old – art enthusiast and cultural philanthropists alike joining the night of nourishment at the museum.

Summer is just around the corner and the warmer weather calls for celebrations on celebrations! Toronto will be jam-packed with exciting events filled with summer vibes to begin the hottest season and wrap up the month of June.

The Gardiner Museum hosted the G Party Gala celebrating the 12 Trees exhibition on December 1, 2016. The exhibition was inspired by the theme “Good for the Earth” curated by internationally-renowned artist and environmentalist, David Buckland. The installations are made from natural, recycled, or sustainable materials which help focus attention to environmental concerns.

We can only describe the inaugural SMASH party at the Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Art as a fine coalescence of captivating contemporary art, engaging live performances, and incredible eats’ n’ drinks.

Gardiner Museum celebrated their first Young Patrons Circle with the inaugural fundraising gala called “TENSIONS” with the help of the National Ballet School, where visual arts and performance art partnered for one special evening on Friday, June 19th, 2015.

Even before getting to the door, you could tell this event was special.

On November 20, I was fortunate to attend the food lover’s dream event – Air Canada‘s enRoute magazine‘s announcement of Canada’s best new restaurants for 2014. This gala brought together restaurants from coast to coast to the Gardiner Museum, where guests met the chefs and sampled some of their restaurant’s signature dishes.
