When it comes to healthcare facilities, design is just as important as the services offered within their walls.

This point was driven home at Recovery Brunch, a cocktail, breakfast and photo-op-filled affair held within Momofuko and on its breezy Daisho terrace. Think, the ultimate Sunday funday, complete with a DJ, auction items and mimosas and Bloody Caesars – all for a good cause.

The Sinai Soiree, an annual Halloween event in its 7th year, was held on October 29th, 2016. This year, the highly anticipated fundraising party thrown by Mount Sinai Foundation, was held downtown at the CBC Atrium. The theme of this year’s event was Dia de los Muertos or in other words, Day of the Dead, a Mexican holiday celebration. 



Dinner with Scientists was held on November 16th celebrating over 30 years of scientific discovery at Sinai Health System’s Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute (LTRI). The event was held at The Carlu raising a whopping $1 million and brought together the scientific and philanthropic community for an evening of curiosity and possibility.

The event featured special guest speaker, the chief medical correspondent for CNN Dr. Sanjay Gupta and host Allison Vuchnich from Global News.

Usually Sinai Soiree takes place in the summer but this time the stakes were raised for a Halloween edition of the annual charity party. As usual it was a sold-out affair with 600 young professionals in costume in attendance. Toronto’s castle, Casa Loma, was the perfect haunted house for a Halloween party.
