The WORKS Gourmet Burger Bistro kicks off a fun rock-n-roll themed menu for this long awaited spring. Aptly titled, Patty Like a Rockstar, we taste tested a few of the items from this new, limited time only menu.
After watching the dazzling equestrian show, Odysseo, I met up with friends to dine at The Keg on Esplanade. It’s a short, easy drive (or cab ride) from the big white tents at the Port Lands along Lake Shore Road. Parking is also easy at the large parking lot near St. Lawrence Market.

So with the growth in condos in the neighbourhood and the overflowing after-work patio destination Esplanade nearby, enter the emerging Market Street set to heat things up starting next week.
With 30 chefs, 4 wineries, and 2 breweries, this year’s Recipe for Change event was a food lovers’ dream. Held at the St. Lawrence Market North Market, attendees had three hours to wine and dine, all in support of FoodShare‘s programs to raise food literacy and boost healthy food in schools.
For food lovers, FoodShare’s annual Recipe for Change is coming up and it’s sure to be a great event. This year’s event is a “Party for the Future of Food” where 30 chefs will come together to bring you diverse local food along with beverages from 4 wineries and 2 craft breweries.
Market St. – the small street beside the world renowned St. Lawrence Market – has had a renaissance in the last few months. Several years of revitalization culminated this year with the opening of many new dining spots in this newly reborn strip. At its the northernmost end, you’ll find Barsa Taberna – a restaurant whose concept is inspired by the dining culture in Barcelona.
