For those in the know, Powerball at The Power Plant is a highly anticipated annual celebration. For the gallery’s 25th anniversary, Power Ball’s “Quarter Life Crisis” was a well-attended evening with 1,700 guests. Those in attendance read like a who’s-who of Canadian and Toronto socialite fame including Melissa Grelo, Mary Kitchen, Jian Ghomeshi, Tanya Kim, Rick Mercer.

We spotted our own personal favourite musician, Clara Venice, who performed at our recent Local Artist event at ING. Looking forward to her next performance at Drake Hotel!

Dragonette performed for the VIP portion to kick off the night and DJ’s Alex Merrell and Diego Armand kept everyone dancing late into the night.
Many guests were dressed in fashionably provocative attire, Perrier cocktails and Kronenbourg 1664 beer were available at many bar stations (albeit with lineups at each due to the massive turnout), and Chef Marc Thuet of Petite Thuet kept us well-fed with a bison sandwiches from a 400 pound bison roast and BBQ corn.
It was good to see #PowerBallTO trending worldwide and the reasons were obvious! Looking forward to Powerball again next year!
