Sinai-Soiree-2013-BestofToronto-058

There have been a lot of Great Gatsby inspired events in Toronto this year (could it have anything to do with the new Leonardo Di Caprio movie, perhaps?) but the historic Casa Loma is clearly one of the perfect settings in Toronto for such a fittingly-themed 1920s soiree.

Inside, the classic chandeliers and ceiling details inspire intrigue and elegance. The feathery decor and mood lighting added for the evening was great.

For those guests who arrived but forgot to theme it up, a boutique pop-up shop was on site, making dazzling, Gatsby-inspired accessories readily available at reasonable prices.

The evening started with a VIP hour as guests were greeted with a jazz band and sparkling wine. Lots of great food was passed around to keep pace with the open bar. It’s impressive how the bar was fully open including a wide variety of liquor such as tequila and Jagermeister. Toronto’s own DJ M Kutz did a great job keeping the party going the whole night getting everyone dancing to the beats including the bar staff.

Most guests congregated outside on the beautiful warm evening. The gorgeous, large terrace with the castle all lit up in the background is quite an amazing scenic backdrop.

We’re proud to have been the official media sponsor for the Sinai Soiree and proud to continue supporting their fundraising activities. The evening was a great success! Stayed tuned with us for updates as we celebrate with a gala for the 60th anniversary of Mount Sinai in autumn at the Ritz Carlton hotel!
