The first-ever Fete Chinoise was a dazzling display of high end decor immersing guests in an inspiring spectacle that took over all the ballrooms on the 3rd floor of the Shangri-La Hotel including the heated outdoor terrace.

Showcasing the finest of Chinese and Asian culture with modern interpretations by hundreds of hours of artists’ works, talent and craftsmanship in each installation.

Taking place on Saturday November 14th, 2015 Fete Chinoise was split into two sessions.

First there was an exquisite High Tea afternoon session with traditional tea along with snacks, dim sum, cocktails and so much more. This was followed by a late night snack market in the evening session.

Both sessions included a Lion Dance performance by Wushu as well as Claudia Hui playing the traditional Gu Zheng instrument.

There was just so much to explore, it was worth spending every minute to appreciate all the details that went into the each and every installation.

Congrats to Shangri-La Hotel, Paleterra Custom Correspondences and the many others involved in putting together this grandiose upscale event. We hope it returns again soon. For more details visit fetechinoise.ca
