As we mentioned before, on April 28 2015, “Wonderful Women” were celebrated at an intimate affair with 250 guests with inspiring and successful featured speakers including Olympic gold medalist Marnie McBean and more.

Since one of the headlining speakers Jann Arden couldn’t make it, celebrity gossiper, Lainey Lui, quickly filled in and guests were happy to have her.

The event raises funds for 2 female scientists completing their postdoctoral degree in science at leading international institutions.

We were delighted to have such an eclectic, intelligent and insightful panel to join us and help raise funds for such an important cause.” said Michele Atlin, Chair of the Women and Science committee of Weizmann Canada.
