TOM* and GQ Magazine threw the International Press Party on Tuesday night (Feb 24, 2015) at the new TOM* home at 444 Yonge St in College Park, to celebrate the start of TOM* (Toronto Men’s Fashion Week).
An exclusive ‘by invite only’ event, the who’s who of fashion elite were in full force.
Sipping champagne and craft cocktails, enjoying the music, and the entertainment of the Brazilian dancers and jiu jitsu, it set the stylish tone and flair for the shows to come.
On that front, GQ Brasil Fashion Editor Sylvain Justum was invited to TOM as a special guest. Last year’s emerging menswear designer Joao Paulo Guedes (also Brazilian-born) will be featured in the magazine’s upcoming issue.
Being the 2nd season for TOM*, founder Jeff Rustia, has stated that TOMFW aims to run twice a year, so it looks like the men’s fashion scene is here to stay in Toronto!
