S/ Magazine celebrated the launch of their Winter 2016 issue with an exclusive event bringing fashion and artistic elements together at the Ritz Carlton on Wednesday, November 11th, 2015.
Features included a wall of hands adorned with jewels from Bandiera Jewellery, a claw machine with prizes (very popular considering the lineup), and a manicure station all in the spirit of the it’s audience, the sophisticated woman. Live entertainment a violinist and a stylishly choreographed En Pointe ballet performance accompanied by Bellosound tunes. There was also a large video projection on the middle of the floor creating interesting movements and colours onto the well-dressed guests in attendance.
Similar to the bi-annual launch parties of SHARP (S/ Style’s older sibling publication at Contempo Media), there were various feature cocktail stations as well as a vodka station serving plenty of beverages. There was also a seafood and crudite station to nibble on.
