Square One Shopping Centre celebrated a preview of its Spring Summer 2016 campaign on February 24th, 2016 in advance of the anticipated opening of its luxury wing with special guests: actress, director and stylist, Drena De Niro (daughter of Robert De Niro), actress Diahnne Abbott, and photographer David Drebin. The complete unveiling of the Square One SS16 campaign and opening of the Square One Luxury Wing will be held on March 1st, 2016.

Media and guests filled the Grand Rotunda of the new luxury wing to hear from Square One executives and its luxury retailers about the new retail space. Marketing director Toni Holley, general manager Greg Taylor, Larry Rosen of Harry Rosen, Peter Simon of Simons, and Alison Simpson of Holt Renfrew were among the keynote speakers. It was also the unveiling of Square One’s SS16.

The expansive, bright and beautifully designed grand rotunda gives a hint of what to expect within the new wing – top international luxury brands including: Kate Spade New York, Stuart Weitzman, Marc Cain, Ben Sherman, Rolex, Michael Kors, BCBG, Harry Rosen, Holt Renfrew, Wolford, and Simons (the first for Ontario opening March 17th). Decorating some of the space is vibrant photography from David Drebin who worked on the Square One Woman campaign. Exotic locations, colourful, dramatic and captivating describe the images he elicits.
General manager, Greg Taylor provided us with a private tour with insight on the new expansion. Later on, attendees heard from special guests about their contributions to fashion, retail and the Square One campaigns.
Another highlight of the event was a shopping spree challenge. Guests had some fun shopping Square One and styling their items they found in an effort to win a luxury shopping spree.
