The evening also held a digital auction with tablets at each table, from which proceeds are used maintain programs for kids in the community. The Ontario Science Center aims to introduce the wonders of science to kids, believing that “leaders in science originates from curiosity at an early age.”
As a result, the 10th annual RBC Innovator’s Ball raised a record $600,000 for the Ontario Science Centre and community access programs. This includes enough funds to bring in 108 classes for the Science Centre’s Adopt-a-Class program.
