One of the most emblematic love stories of our time is coming to Toronto. The Saint Petersburg Eifman Ballet transforms Leo Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina into a moving, spectacular production on stage at the Sony Centre. Produced by Show One Productions, this gem is only here for a short period for its Canadian premiere, running from April 23rd to 25th.

Renowned choreographer Boris Eifman has adapted the sweeping Russian tragic novel into a performance of raw emotions. Choosing to focus on the love triangle of Anna, the married socialite, her husband, Karenin, and her lover, Count Vronsky, the captivating performance inspires a blend of contemporary and classical ballet. Even though the story of Anna Karenina has been retold many times in films and TV, this Russian ballet revival reaches a new frontier as it reinvigorates the classic and heartfelt masterpiece that touched so many.

Don’t miss out. Anna Karenina runs for a short time from April 23rd to 25th at the Sony Centre.
