The energy was still high up through the end of The Purple Party in support of Childhood Cancer Canada. The evening was hosted by former NHL enforcer and Stanley Cup champion, Brad May, and his wife Bridgette May.

The Drake Hotel was packed full of philanthropists, athletes, and celebrities including CFL Hall of Famer, Damon Allen and Yannick Bisson, from the Murdoch Mysteries, the ever-so photogenic international supermodel, Stacey McKenzie, Gabrielle Miller, Stacy-Ann Buchanan, Lyriq Bent, John Shannon, Steve salos, John Mitchell, Michelle Dube, and Paul Bliss.

The Purple Party spanned both the ground floor as well as the “Sky Yard” rooftop lounge. There was even a fire pit with tree branches for roasting marshmallows!

About Childhood Cancer Canada
Founded in 1987, Childhood Cancer Canada (CCC) is the country’s leading Foundation dedicated entirely to the fight against childhood cancer. We achieve our goal of improving the lives of children with cancer and their families through our vital support programs and investment in collaborative cancer research. Childhood cancer is unique. It is not just a smaller part of the adult world of cancer. The biology, treatment & effects of treatment are unique to children. Through our unique partnership with all of Canada’s 17 childhood cancer hospitals and treatment centres, we can ensure that children with cancer are exposed to kinder and gentler treatments that will not only cure them but leave them with an improved quality of life into adulthood.
