June is Italian Heritage month and the festivities are not to be missed supporting Toronto’s lively Italian communities.

To kick things off, Liberty Entertainment Group will be launching a “Castello Italia” event where the majestic Casa Loma Gardens are boasted to be transformed into an authentic “Italian Piazza” experience.

This family-friendly event will bring out a selection of Toronto’s top Italian restaurants offering tastes of true Italian cuisine. Red, white and sparkling Italian wines will be sampled from Italian regions like Piedmont, Vento and Tuscany as well as Italian-Canadian vintners from our own award-winning Niagara region.

Exotic Italian vehicles will be on display including Ferrari, Maserati and Lamborghini. A full line-up of live entertainment will cater to guests of all ages on the main stage at Casa Loma Gardens.

“Castello Italia is the signature kick-off event for Italian Heritage Month, and there’s no better way to bring the community together than to host this festive day at Toronto’s heritage attraction, Casa Loma,” says Nick Di Donato, President and CEO of Liberty Entertainment Group – also an Italian Canadian.

The event takes place tomorrow Sunday, June 1st, 2014 at Casa Loma from 10-4pm. Kids under 3pm are free.
