Luxury lingerie boutique, Agent Provocateur is opening its lust-worthy doors to Toronto, becoming the first ever standalone AP boutique in Canada. People can now visit 131 Bloor Street W. to find the iconic brand’s beautiful high-end pieces.
Founded in 1994 by Joe Corre and Serena Rees, in Soho, London, Agent Provocateur quickly rose to fame for their renowned technique and artistry. Their use of quality European fabrics, the detailed fit, and unique flirty designs, decidedly anchored AP as the expert of sexy within the industry.
AP’s designs are known the world over for being sensuous and cheeky. The most popular and fundamental piece being the exquisite, “FiFi” from the Classic Collection. Its black and baby pink allure is the epitome of chic. Made from sheer pleated tulle, and overlaid with French Chantilly lace, it seasons the heart and lures you in.
Toronto’s new emporium houses the Main Collection, as well as the Classic, Bridal, Swimwear, Hosiery, and Accessory lines. Special to the stand alone boutique however, is AP’s Limited Edition Couture Collection, Soiree.
After stepping foot in the door, you’re bound to see a lady or two in a robe, as AP agents wear pink housecoats designed by Vivienne Westwood encouraging a playful attitude within the shop’s atmosphere.
The boutique itself is an environment all its own, an inspired boudoir with black and grey lace carpets, 70’s fixtures and mirrors all giving an art-deco feel. Get up close and personal right now, with our sneak peek of Agent Provocateur’s Autumn/Winter 2014 Seasonal Collection.
