Nestled in a Queen Street East neighbourhood, in a rather inconspicuous building, the purveyors, Petite & Sweet are hard at work creating some tasty and visually stunning confections. We had a chance to delve into their sweet, confectionary world.

Petite & Sweet’s launch event was filled with candies, cakes, macarons, cupcakes, all kinds of lavish sweets that would even entice your dentist to indulge in a little. And how about some champagne, wine and cocktails to go with those? A fine compliment to any occasion especially when the mouth watering morsels are this good. Petite & Sweet not only makes edibles, it also designs and makes custom cocktails for clients.

Moreover, Petite & Sweet also caters events, creates floral designs and even has a workshop on making macarons and other sweet treats. Some of their project can be found here: www.petiteandsweet.ca/projects/

Some of their clients include Porsche, Shaw Media, Holt Renfrew and many more. Martha Stewart even had a chance to sample Petite & Sweet’ creations at an event they catered. “yummy and beautiful” was Martha’s praise.

The team headed by Elle Daftarian are an amazing bunch. Their personalities, energy and passion show through in their work. We had some fun downstairs with an impromptu photo shoot in their offices and warehouse.
