In the latest supercar news, a private event attended by exotic car aficionados and automotive industry guests gather for the introduction of the new 2016 McLaren 570S which took place at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Toronto on Thursday, April 21st, 2015.
This would be the latest car in McLaren’s Sport Series lineup along with the 540C. At the unveiling, what revealed itself underneath was a beast of a car with striking looks – a fiery orange supercar coupe with refined lines, low profile stance and aggressively sexy angles and curves.
With 562 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque from it’s twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V-8, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds with a top speed of 328 km/h putting it squarely in contention with the likes of Porsche 911 Turbo and Audi R8. It’s a potent car with the performance numbers and luxurious styling.
Guests at the exclusive affair were treated to special McLaren cocktails with Belvedere vodka as well as fine Glenmorangie and Ardbeg single malt whiskey.
There were also fine showcase of luxury watches from Bandiera Jewellers and product sampling from Truefitt & Hill.
