Toronto got a lot hotter at TOM SS16 fashion week last Wednesday through Friday and sent some hotties down the runways to boot.
Here’s the style highlights that impressed the most day 1 -3:
Day 1: Bright ‘Uptown Funk” suits at Kenneth Barlis that played well off the beats of the soundtrack. Later on, the night finished off with dreams of California surfing as Swam put a nice wrap on things with their swimwear and well-oiled dudes.
Day 2: The stripped down edge for Hip & Bone, definitely took it home for the best of streetwear cool.
Day 3: Drama side up for Finezza’s suits and masks, and soaring high for Christopher Bates, who recently became the new Air Canada uniform designer. His lavender suede jacket was a standout piece of the SS16 collection.
The heavy hitter for the final show of the evening and winner of the EMDA (Emerging Designer Award) award was 3.Paradis, taking home $10, 000 as the grand prize.
