Celebrating young professionals and the YP life, the latest edition of the annual Notable Awards hosted by our friends at Notable.ca was bigger and better than ever.
Taking place at The Carlu on Feb 17th, notable guests arrived on the red carpet including my favourite Twitter-famous Councillor Norm Kelly, Susur Lee, YouTube celebrity Matthew Santoro (over 5 million subscribers!), Joe Mimran, Maripier Morin (Hockey Wives), Brad J. Lamb and many more.
We were lucky to be invited and seated front-row in between tables with Santoro and Norm and Susur Lee so it was easy to capture moments like when Norm met Paul Mason (Toronto’s own celebrity Fashion Santa) for the very first time. Two current Toronto legends shaking hands? Incredible!
One of my favourite highlights of the awards dinner portion of the evening was the duet performance with Jully Black and Maestro Fresh Wes performing favourites like “Let Your Backbone Slide”.
Then as the Oliver & Bonacini dinner was wrapping up, the after party was already in full effect. Lines for drinks were relatively short – leaving more time for networking, mingling and busting moves on the dance floor.
It was as a pretty great night with great vibes and lots of familiar faces. I couldn’t walk two steps without someone asking for a picture. What a crazy night.
Thanks again to Notable and Rock-it Promotions for having us!

Proceeds from the event went to support the Canadian Mental Health Assocation.
