The 2016 edition of the annual Scrubs in the City charity event took place on June 2nd, 2016 once again at the Evergreen Brick Works.

This year taking on a “London Calling” theme, guests were challenged to choose whether they were “Royal” or “Rebel”. Any way you look at it, it was fun.

In fact, it was one of the most fun themes of Scrubs in the City I’ve attended in my 4 years. Musical entertainment came fittingly from a fun Beatles cover band.

Guests danced the rest of the night away.

And best of all the annual charity event raised a record-breaking $800,000.

To date Scrubs in the City has raised $4 million for SickKids to the purchase of a new 3T MRI machine at SickKids – quieter, faster, bigger and more powerful, making the MRI experience for children and their families less stressful.

Be sure to catch this top charity event next year as the date is already confirmed for June 1, 2017 at www.skscrubs.ca with the theme of Marrakesh, Morocco.
