The Airship 37 venue in the Distillery District as I knew it was turned into a country hoedown with party-goers in cowboy hats, plaid, and cowboy boots dancing to country music. The Jim Beam booth featured Jim Beam girls doing a blind Taste Challenge versus Jack Daniels. Other drinks included Iceberg Vodka and Amsterdam beer and there was plenty of cupcakes available for the taking from Bite Me Bakery. It turned out to be a fun, rowdy country party right…

On Friday March 30, 2012, the boutique loft-style, exposed-brick store located at Queen West which featuring unique designers closed its doors.  What better way to close a store than having an amazing DJ, open bar and a store full of energetic, dancing party people? We bid a sad “adieu” to the bricks and mortar store but there will be an online store coming soon.

I was fortunate enough to be part of the Tatsuaki Spring/Summer 2012 Launch Party at the Julie M Gallery in the Distillery District. It was a fantastic show! This refreshing collection will be appearing in select Bay stores in late March, early April.
