Motionball's Fall room at The Liberty Grand

Undeniably one of the best charity parties in Toronto, this year was no different with special guest Carmen Electra. It’s definitely worth the ticket price for the incredible value you get having a good time with over two thousand partygoers in support of Special Olympics Canada via the nonprofit Motionball organization. Check out our photos below.

This time it was held at The Liberty Grand with each room having a different seasonal theme. Featuring complimentary drinks, lots of musical entertainment including Enrique Lopez, Cory Tetford and DJs Skratch Bastid, Running Red Lights, DJ Efsharp, DJ Dopey D and J Don Mescal. There was also a fashion show by Under Armour.

The Winter section upstairs had a large silent auction with 100 items up for bid including a $10,000 vacation for 2 to the Azores Island, autographed sports jerseys and more.

Making improvements from last year, there were few lineups for drinks, coatcheck and cabs at this year’s Motionball in Toronto. Great job to all the organizers and volunteers.

Carmen Electra and her dancers gave a special musical performance with a video by Tvem Svem (with an intro by Cabbie Richards). And thanks, Tvem, for lending a AA battery.

This year’s Motionball gala featured the launch of the new Air Miles #YellowCard campaign to get rid of the derogatory use of the “R” word from everyday language.

Here’s more about Motionball featuring Kevin Timberlake who was born with an intellectual disability and also a Special Olympics athlete. At this year’s Motionball, Kevin announced on stage that he proposed to his girlfriend and she said yes. Congrats, Kevin!
