For the Toronto International Film Festival’s annual fundraising party, the theme at this year’s BOOMBOX party was Fame-inspired.

Always one of the greatest parties in Toronto, you don’t want to miss this year’s BOOMBOX.

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the original series of Star Trek, TIFF endeavored to boldly go where no charity gala has gone before with their massive annual fundraiser: BOOMBOX. On Thursday October 27, we had the pleasure of experiencing TIFF Bell Lightbox’s transformation into a multi-level barrage of Star Trek inspired sci-fi extravaganza.

We called it the best annual event of 2014.  With all floors of the TIFF Bell Lightbox open for the annual TIFF fundraising party, the fun factor is BOOMBOX is always top notch bringing the magic of film to life.

TIFF‘s annual fundraising event, BOOMBOX, once again brings awareness to major exhibition’s opening. Last year, the exhibition was in celebration of the work of Canadian David Cronenberg. This year, it’s an exhibition dedicated to the creative genius and film legacy of Stanley Kubrick.

It’s that time of year again where TIFF kicks off another highly-anticipated signature exhibition with a special filmmaker. For this year’s occasion, TIFF programming takes us into the mind of Stanley Kubrick.
