Kestin Cornwall’s “Jezebel” is a varied collection of original mixed media paintings and screen prints with influences from American Street Art, Asian, Egyptian and Sri Lankan culture. The exhibition also showcases local model Tania Z.

The collection will be on display from August 2nd to August 23rd at the Goodfellas Gallery at 1266 Queen West.

Over the past ten years Kestin Cornwall has been featured in countless group shows and projects such as the Tribute To John Michel Basquiat show at Revival in 2004 and the T.O.P Tour Life Styles Edition in 2006 at Montreal based Yves Laroche Gallery. More recently he’s shown at Lee’s Gallery in Los Angeles, Toronto’s INDEXG Gallery and SMASH located in Toronto. However, this exhibition will be the first time his work will be displayed on such a grand scale with large, small and medium sized work available.

Goodfellas is a commercially driven gallery focused on giving Toronto’s urban living a facelift.

The owners took what was formally known as “Ushers Groceries” and converted the space into the pinnacle for exhibiting commercial and collector’s art in the Parkdale area. Already dealing in high end real estate and commercial design, they felt it was time to open a space that focused entirely on rejuvenating art in commercial spaces and joining some of the other inspiring local businesses in bringing awareness to the potential of the neighborhood.
