JET Entertainment

On September 16th, 2014, it was another sold-out evening filled to the brim with 600 people for the Save a Child’s Heart annual “UnGala” fundraising event.

In the past 3 years the annual UnGala event has been held at the Drake Hotel. But to accommodate the increased demand this year, it moved to The Citizen. And the extra space was definitely needed. Just like last year, it was a huge turnout.

Guests were entertained with food catered by the Citizen and live musical entertainment provided by Toronto’s CounterMeasure and JET Entertainment (including Sarah G Violin).

The event raised $700,000 to support life-saving surgery for children who urgently need pediatric heart surgery and also provide follow-up care for indigent children in developing countries.

Karen Diamond, Executive Director of the Canadian organization says the work at Save a Child’s Heart “the very essence of what the Jewish people and the State of Israel stand for in terms of their moral and ethical principals and its contribution towards the advancement of mankind”.
