Last Saturday, September 6th, Oliver & Bonacini Events hosted a fantastic matinée brunch on the scenic rooftop of the TIFF Bell Lightbox (Malaparte) called “Malapartay” in the midst of the film festivities.
It was delicious bites as always catered by Oliver & Bonacini including a seafood paella (I went back for seconds), chicken waffles, foie gras, oyster bar with gourmet toppings and perfectly-made bite-sized colourful macarons.
My absolute favourite was the quail eggs and steak on a bed of crispy housemade kettle chips.
Fine cocktails were provided by familiar Toronto bartenders Jordan Stacey (Brassaii) and Dave Mitton (The Harbord Room) among others.
