In Photos: The "Strut with Shibui" party - Best of TorontoBest of Toronto

It was quite a day on October 21st in the midst of fashion week. Jo-Anna and I checked out some fashion week shows during the day including the awesome “Viva La Juicy” Juicy Couture brunch and the Minnie Mouse fashion event.

Then John and I went over to Eat to the Beat. Then 4 of us from the Best of Toronto team (Jo-Anna, James, John and me – that’s a lot of Js) met up at the wicked Shibui Robata restaurant for Jay Strut’s fashion party to end the long day with a bang.

It was a full house at Shibui Robata with a divine selection of top-notch sashimi, sushi and cocktails. Some of the sashimi was served on a model spray-painted in gold for a Nyotaimori experience.

Jay Strut was recently nominated for a 2015 Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards for Fashion Blogger of the Year. See the list of nominees here as well as CAFA nominee event photos. He’s short-listed with the likes of The Coveteur, Tommy Ton and the Beckermans. It all goes down on January 2015 at the Fairmont Royal York.
