This season’s Toronto Fashion Week x RE\SET in Yorkville was everything spectacular; including once again opening its doors to one of Canadian fashion’s most awaited presentations – the showcase of Mikhael Kale’s gorgeous F/W ’19 collection.
Toronto designer Lesley Hampton is not only making headlines for her red carpet-worthy creations, but also for the attention she’s attracting to important issues like mental health, body positivity, and inclusivity.
Earlier this month, Hampton wowed attendees of Toronto Women’s Fashion Week (TWFW) with a show that featured models cast on personality rather than physical appearance, bodies of all sizes, and a collection of clothing inspired by mental health struggles.
We recently caught up with the designer backstage.
I wasn’t planning to do a post on the TOM* FW opening party this time as we’ve been pretty busy with paid photo gigs (thank you clients, we love you!) but since people have kept asking here’s a few of our photos from the opening party at Maison Mercer on February 22nd to kick off another popular bi-annual Toronto Men’s Fashion Week for Fall Winter 2016.
Season after season Mackage is always a sought after show during fashion week. The after party for the luxury outerwear brand was held at a secret location. And for many it was tough staying up late on a weekday (including myself!) when the after party started but for supporters of Mackage it was definitely worth it … and the limo ride certainly helped.
Great news! We’ve teamed up with Grey Goose (one of the official sponsors of World MasterCard Fashion Week) to give you and your friend a chance to get into TWO of the hottest, most exclusive fashion shows at this season’s World MasterCard Fashion Week on Thursday, October 22nd, 2015! This includes Grey Goose cocktails at the Grey Goose Bar in the Fashion Week tent at David Pecaut Square.
