Over 1,000 guests partied for a cause with the inaugural All Star Gala at the Arcadian Court on Friday, June 26th. Sports athletes including Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto FC and more NHL players were in attendance with TSN”s Cabbie Richards taking on emcee duties.
The wine of the evening was celebrity chef David Rocco’s La Dolce Vita, who was also in attendance. Entertainment included Aion Clarke and Juno-nominated DJ Glenn Morrison.
It wouldn’t be a charity gala without raising funds and there was a large selection of items in the silent auction including autographed jerseys from Toronto’s sports celebrities.
The inaugural All Star Gala raised $68,000 in net proceeds for SickKids, in particular a new cardiac MRI machine.
Overall it was a great vibe and great turnout for the inaugural All Star Gala put together by West of Contra’s James Blackburn and Cam Healy.
