My hat goes off to Rethink Breast Cancer for putting on quite the event! If you are looking for a day of pampering, you can’t go wrong with Rethink at the Races in celebration of the annual Queen’s Plate at Woodbine Race Track this past Sunday, July 3rd, 2016. For the 157th annual Queen’s Plate the theme of this year’s Rethink at the Races tent was a vintage garden party.
The elegantly decorated Rethink at the Races tent was hard to miss. Parked upfront is a McLaren with enough style and horse power to satisfy any car enthusiast. A wall of bright pink flowers were the perfect setup for those wanting to capture their style on camera. Inside the tent, you get your hashtagged photos printed out or, and also there was illustrators to sketch out a portrait for you.
We got to further delight our senses with the various cocktails, wines and beverages from one of the three bar areas as well as a variety of delicious treats. A booth was set up for those who wish to partake in betting on their horse of choice. Oh, and ladies, don’t forget to get a manicure or makeover before stepping out to see the races.
If you ever want to go to the annual Queens Plate in style, Rethink at the Races certainly succeeds in bringing you there! Not only do you feel good about supporting this very cause, but you do it with fun, style and class.
Congrats to Sir Dudley Digges for winning the 157th Queen’s Plate. After the races there was live music by The Strumbellas, Matthew Good and Hedley.
Thanks to everyone that bought a ticket to this sold out event. This charity supports young women affected by breast cancer. And who doesn’t know someone affected by breast cancer?
And we’ll see you at the next edition of Booby Ball on October 14th. Save the date!
