It’s a special year for the Toronto Public Library. They will be celebrating the opening of the 100th branch and also hosting the 10th annual Book Lover’s Ball. This charity black-tie gala will feature a new format including live music, dancing and even one-on-one Scrabble games with some of your favourite authors all in a library/party setting.

So if you love books here’s your chance to celebrate as the literary world comes to life!

The Book Lover’s Ball will take place at the Toronto Reference Library (Canada’s only public reference library) at 789 Yonge Street on February 5th, 2015. It’s a gorgeous five-story building spanning 416,035 sq. ft. which has been revitalized with the help of donor support.

And in it’s first time, the Book Lover’s Ball will be adding an exciting inaugural “After Dark” after party starting at 9:00pm hosted by CBC’s Gill Deacon. You will enjoy live music, dancing, cocktails, canapés, and literary-inspired activities.
