It was another sight to behold as a sea of 2,300 people dressed all in white set up for this year’s edition of Diner en Blanc 2015 in Toronto.

As per the Parisian tradition from where Diner en Blanc originates, guests must wear all white and the location is undisclosed to guests until the last minute.

That venue this year turned out to be the Harbourfront at Canada Square. I think the venue turned out very well; centrally located yet it felt like enough of a retreat with grass, greenery and surrounding condos with a view of the CN Tower.

Shuttled in buses from secret pickup points across town, guests bring out white tables and chairs, creative dishes, and centrepieces.

It’s a lot of work, but it makes for a beautiful scene to behold especially when the white napkins are waved and also when the sparklers light up the night. A bonus was that the weather completely cooperated without any signs of rain.
