To start off Melanoma Awareness month in May, the David Cornfield Melanoma Fund held their annual event on May 1st, 2013. This year it was at the Six Degrees Event Centre in midtown Toronto. It was a cozier, more intimate space than last year’s event at Liberty Grand – a welcome, refreshing change of scenery. Guests wore black, the colour of Melanoma Awareness month, and enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeurves, and fine food stations catered by Encore Catering and mystical entertainment…
For over 25 years, the AWHL (Assaulted Women’s Helpline) has strived to provide completely free 24/7 support to women who have been assaulted. It’s always a well-attended gala for a great cause. The after party featured a DJ, dancing, a host bar and stunningly colourful decor…

Even though she’s “Canada’s own certified diva” (as quoted from her twitter acct), Divine Brown…
It was a fun charity party in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation at the classic venue Capitol Theatre. I’ve only been there once before for a corporate Christmas party and it was a memorable evening. This was another memorable evening as well being my 2nd time at the annual Pink Party (last year’s pics here), so of course I knew it would be fun! And it got even better when actress, Elisha Cuthbert, was announced as a co-host…
