This Civic Holiday weekend featured another solid lineup at this year’s VELD Music Festival 2015 with big acts like Steve Aoki, A$AP Rocky, Nicky Romero, Kaskade and the return of Deadmau5, as one of the producers alongside LiveNation and INK Entertainment.

So while everyone was disappointed that Saturday of the annual 2-day Digital Dreams music festival was completely cancelled due to safety concerns from the wind and non-stop rain on Saturday, Day 2 was slightly better weather but just enough to keep the show going.

This past Friday and Saturday, the music festival known as Bestival arrives for the first time from the UK with a few big names including Florence and the Machine and Nas, which took place this past Friday and Saturday at Hanlan’s Point Beach on the Toronto Islands.
