Sometimes rain happens. And it did happen the weekend of June 27th and 28th at Echo Beach on the Ontario Place grounds. So while everyone was disappointed that Saturday of the annual 2-day Digital Dreams music festival was completely cancelled due to safety concerns from the wind and non-stop rain on Saturday, Day 2 was slightly better weather but just enough to keep the show going.
Originating in Paris, France over 25 years ago, Diner en Blanc is a globally-celebrated pop-up dinner party where guests dress in all-white. The 3rd annual Diner en Blanc in Toronto took place last night, September 18, 2014. About 1,400 guests dressed all in white went to various meeting points across the city such as the ROM and Thompson Hotel to board coach buses which took them to the very secret location of the pop-up dinner.
Around 80,000 EDM fans gathered at Electronic Nation’s Bud Light Digital Dreams 2014 in a state of music-induced euphoria during two days of the Canada Day long weekend. Now in it’s third year, the festival offered an expanded site at The Flats at Ontario Place (plus Echo Beach) including the addition of a 4th stage.
Needless to say, the festival was full of non-stop loudness thanks to an incredible lineup of top DJs. Digital Dreams 2014 was as impressive as ever.
Set on a shoreline overlooking Toronto’s iconic skyline, the annual Digital Dreams Music Festival is an event unlike any other in the Canadian music scene.
