Kanpai Snack Bar is the hippest Taiwanese snack and drink bar in Cabbagetown and beyond, and they only get better with their recent menu offerings.

On a beautiful, winter Saturday morning, we ventured to Cresta, right across from the world-famous St. Lawrence Market. Formerly Pastizza up until last November, it is named after the iconic Cresta Ridge vineyards in California, and hopes to bring the casual California vibe to its innovative Italian menu, more befitting of its surrounding neighbourhood. On this day we came for brunch – a favourite weekend activity of many Torontonians.

Miss Fresh is a food delivery service that started in Quebec.  They’ve recently expanded into the Toronto area and they asked me to give them a try.
